Terms of Service

Gillians Academy websites, applications, and related 1-on-1 tutoring services (the “Service”) are operated by Gillians Academy. By accessing or using any part of the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If we update these Terms, we will post a notice on the Website. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Please note that these terms contain a mandatory arbitration provision that requires the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials or class action lawsuits.

The Service allows users to access premium educational frameworks and 1-on-1 tutoring. You are responsible for all use of the Services made via your household account.

To promote a positive learning environment, both guardians and scholars must comply with our Etiquette Guidelines. We strictly prohibit conduct that is harassing, discriminatory, or disruptive to our educators. Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund.

In connection with registering for the Service, you agree to: (i) provide accurate, current, and complete guardian and scholar information; (ii) maintain the confidentiality of your password; and (iii) be fully responsible for all use of your account.

Automatic Renewal: If you purchase a periodic subscription, your account will be billed continuously until terminated. You agree to pay all fees and taxes incurred by your account.

Cancellations: Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled via the Parent Portal at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will result in the forfeiture of that session credit.

Refunds: All payments are nonrefundable. We do not offer credits for partially used membership periods unless required by law.

Academy Property: All content, designs, and educational materials are the proprietary property of Gillians Academy. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

The Service is provided on an "As Is" basis. Gillians Academy expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Gillians Academy be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months prior to the initial action giving rise to liability.

Any dispute seeking monetary relief shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class or collective arbitrations are strictly prohibited.
